What you're charged, plainly
Prices are per person, not per device. One Pro subscription covers your account wherever you sign in.
Indian customers are billed in rupees, everyone else in US dollars. The price you see at checkout is the price that leaves your account; your bank may add its own foreign-exchange fee on cross-border cards, which we don't control and don't receive.
Taxes are included. The prices above include any GST, VAT or sales tax that applies. Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record, works it out from your billing address and shows the exact amount at checkout before you pay.
When you're charged. The first payment is taken when you set up the subscription, and each renewal on the same date thereafter.
Renewals. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period so your account doesn't lapse, and you get a receipt by email each time. You can cancel at any time from your billing page — see the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Price changes. If we ever change the price of a plan, anyone already subscribed keeps their current price until they cancel.
Common questions
What exactly does the 100 KB free limit cover? Any JSON you bring into the editor — pasting and formatting it, opening a file, fetching a URL — each side of a comparison, and each share link you create. Pro raises all of those to 1 MB. Opening a share link that someone sent you is never limited, on any plan, so a link you receive always works.
Do I need an account to use JSON Hero? No. The editor and share links work signed out. An account is only needed for Pro, because a subscription has to belong to someone.
What happens to my saved shares if I cancel? They stay reachable until the end of the period you paid for. After that, links revert to the free 7-day expiry, and anything already older than 7 days is deleted by the normal cleanup job. Download anything you want to keep before you cancel.
Can I get an invoice? Yes. Paddle, which sells Pro as our reseller, emails a receipt for every payment. If you need a tax invoice with your business details, you can add them from that email, or write to hello@jsonhero.dev with the order number and we'll help.
